LA MIRADA, Calif. ---
Tara Rallis led the Golden State Athletic Conference with 51 digs, and she continued the best season of her four-year career by getting named the GSAC Volleyball Player of the Week for games played between Oct. 14-20.
Â
The senior libero led the No. 3 Eagles to a 1-1 week with a win over No. 22 Columbia and a loss coming in four sets to No. Texas-Brownsville.
Â
In addition to her high dig totals Rallis tacked on nine assists and two service aces. She improved on her 96 percent reception percentage by only giving up three receiving errors.
Â
Rallis is the second Eagle to win this award this season as
Gracee Gallarda took home the honor earlier in the season. This is the first time in her career Rallis has been named player of the week.
Â
The Eagles take on Saint Katherine College in a scrimmage tomorrow night and then resume conference play with a match against The Master's College on Saturday in Santa Clarita, Calif.
