GENEVA, Ohio --- Taylor McCahon and the Biola 4x800 relay team highlighted another solid day for the Biola track and field team on the second day of the NAIA Men's & Women's Indoor Track & Field National Championships at the Spire Institute on Friday.

McCahon broke her school record in the pole vault clearing 3.60 meters to earn All-American honors as she finished in seventh place overall. Her previous indoor best was 3.58 meters set last year at the Indoor Nationals.

The Biola 4x800 team ran nearly an identical time as in the qualifying on Thursday, crossing in third place with a time of 9:09.55. It was the fourth-straight year the team ran in the finals, earning All-America honors the last three years with this being the highest-finish ever. The team was composed of Nychele Fischetti, Jane Kerner, Brook Forsi and Alexandra Sciarra. Fischetti has run the event in each of hte last four year with Forsi and Kerner each running it twice before.

Forsi also had time to run the qualifying heat of the 600m, finishing third in her heat with a 1:36.13, dropping a full second off her previous best time in the event. She will compete in the finals on Saturday.

The women's team is currently in ninth-place overall with eight points.

The three-day competition wraps up on Saturday. The Eagles will look to score in four track events with Fischetti in the mile, Forsi in the 600m, Carissa Bowman in the 3,000 and the Distance Medley Relay.
