Biola Leads the GSAC All-Sports Award Through Fall Sports Season

LA MIRADA, Calif. --- Biola University leads the Golden State Athletic Conference All Sports Award presented by Duke's restaurant Huntington Beach through the Fall Sports season. Biola has an average of 7.2 points through the five sports competed in the Fall.

Biola won the women's cross country title, placed second in women's volleyball and has a pair of third place finishes in men's and women's soccer.

Schools are awarded eight points for winning the conference title, seven points for placing second and so on down the line. Schools are also given one point for each sport they sponsor in the conference. The total points are then divided by the number of sports to arrive at the scoring average.

Concordia University rests in second place in the standings (7.0 average). Concordia took home a conference title in women's volleyball and men's soccer.

Vanguard University won the women's soccer title and rests in third place with a 6.7-point average.

The Master's College won the men's cross country title and rests in fourth place with a 6.5-point average.
