PHOENIX --- Lauren Marlow led Biola with a 29th-place finish as the Eagles finished 14th among 16 teams in a mostly NCAA Division II field at the Grand Canyon University Fall Invitational at the Wigwam Golf Course in Litchfield Park, Arizona, on Monday and Tuesday.

Marlow fired a first-round 77 and followed that up with a second-round 80 to lead the Eagles with a 13-over 157. Jackie Mata placed 67th overall in the tough field with a 174 (88-86) and Claire Prentice placed 79th with a 193 (97-96). 

Biola placed 14th among 16 teams in the field with a score of 712, finishing 15 strokes ahead of Arizona Christian University. 

The Eagles close out the fall season with a trip to Oregon at the George Fox Invitational on October 14-15 in Aloha, Ore.
