LA MIRADA, Calif. --- Biola received a first-half goal from Katie Cabuling and added a pair of goals in the final few minutes to defeat Marymount College 3-0 in the team's final non-conference tune-up Tuesday night.

Biola wraps up its non-conference schedule with a record of 3-4-0, suffering three of those four losses by just one goal. The Eagles open GSAC play next Saturday at No. 7 Concordia University.

Marymount falls to 3-4-0 on the season with all four losses coming against GSAC opponents.

Cabuling got the Eagles off to a quick start, sending home a nice pass from senior Brittany Barr in the 16th minute of the match.

The rest of the match was an entertaining one with both goalkeepers playing well to keep their teams in the match. However, the Eagles pulled away with a pair of goals in the final five minutes.

The first came from Victoria Dalla Zanna in the 87th minute as she tapped home a great cross into the box by Natalie Guerrieri to make it 2-0.

Just over one minute later, Jessica Austin scored her team-best third goal of the season, scoring on a breakaway in the 88th minute..

Frushon made just one save, but was active off her line, coming off numerous times to clear the ball from danger. For her efforts, she received her second shutout of the season and lowered her goals against average to 0.90.

Marymount keeper Andrea Poeschel was solid, making a number of impressive saves throughout the match to kept her team in the match. However, with the defense pushing forward for a potential tying goal, Biola's got a pair of odd-man rushes and cashed in late.
