LA MIRADA, Calif. --- Four different players netted their first goals of the season with sophomore Daniel Chew recording a goal and a pair of assists as Biola cruised to a 4-1 win over Marymount College (Calif.) in a non-conference match on Friday night at Al Barbour Field.

The Eagles improve to 2-0-0 on the season with the victory while dropping the Mariners to 1-2-0.

Biola got the first goal of the match in the 21st minute as Marco Ruvalcaba received a great pass from Chew and scored with a quick shot to the far corner.

Chew recorded his first tally of the year with a goal off a pair of defenders and into the goal in the 32nd minute.

Marymount would get on the board with a goal late in the first half as a long pass from Scott Smith found a wide-open Rimar Daisley-West, who converted the breakaway attempt to make it a 2-1 game with 2:23 to go before the half.

But Biola got that goal back quickly at the start of the second half as Chew chipped a pass ahead as he was getting fouled from behind and Carlos Ballesteros finished with a quick shot past the keeper to make it 3-1.

Kevin Kiser capped the scoring with an incredible shot, firing a blast from 37 yards out into the upper V for his first tally of the year.

Netminder Aaron Fenlason recorded five saves to pick up his second win of the season.

Biola returns to the pitch on Monday, hosting Whittier College in a non-conference match at 7:00 p.m.
