LA MIRADA, Calif. --- Biola senior guard Dwight Gordon has been named an NAIA Third-Team NAIA All-American as announced by the NAIA on Wednesday.

Gordon, who hails from Fontana, led the team in scoring, averaging 14.1 points per game this season which ranked him seventh in the Golden State Athletic Conference this season. He averaged nearly 16 points per game since January. Over that stretch, he scored 20 or more points six times including four in five games at one point.

Gordon, who is widely regarded as one of the top guards in the conference, recorded his first two double-doubles of the season in his final two regular-season games. He scored 16 points and had 10 rebounds in a win over Hope International, then followed that up with a 10-point, 10-rebound performance in Biola's regular-season finale against Point Loma Nazarene.

During Biola's run through the NAIA Tournament, Gordon averaged nearly 12 points per game in the Eagles' four post-season games.
