REDLANDS, Calif. --- Biola dominated the Redlands Invitational and Kelsey Gasner broke a pair of school records including one that had stood for nearly 20 years to pace the Eagles in two meets this weekend.

The Eagles opened the weekend with a solid performances all around at the University of Redlands Invitational on Friday afternoon. The Eagles won nine events including a 1-4 sweep in the women's 100m hurdles.

Gasner was one of those winners, taking top honors in the 3,000 meter steeplechase with a time of 10:51.97, bettering the 11:03 she ran at the 2010 NAIA Outdoor Championships. In addition, she qualified for the 2011 Championships with an "A" standard.

Just 24 hours later, she participated in the 3,000 at the UC Irvine Spring Break Invite in Irvine. She finished sixth overall in a field of NCAA Division I athletes with a school-record time of 9:55.65, six seconds faster than the previous record set by four-time NAIA Champion Elizabeth Onyambu back in 1992. 

Natasha Miller won two events at Redlands, taking top honors in the 100 hurdles with a time of 14.20 and the 200 in 24.83. The senior qualified for outdoor nationals with "A" standards in both events. 

The Biola 4x100 women's relay team broke a school record with a time of 49.28. The team of Beatriz Delgadillo, Ashley Bush, Natasha Miller, and Brooke Forsi broke the previous record set during the 2009 GSAC Championships.

Taylor McCahon broke the school record and earned a national qualifying mark in the pole vault, clearning 3.65m (11' - 11.75") to win the event at Redlands. She broke Erin Hobson's old record of 3.53m set during the 2009 GSAC Championships.

Delgadillo was Biola's other individual winner, taking top honors in the 400 hurdles in 1:06.14. She also placed second in the 100 hurdles as part of Biola's 1-4 sweep. 

Brooke Forsi ran a personal-best time of 58.43 in the 400m to finish second. Nychele Fischetti also placed second in the 3,000m steeplechase with a time of 11:17.58, qualifying for the NAIA Championships with an "A" standard time.

Also qualifying for the NAIA Outdoor Championships in the 10,000 with a time of 37:48.

On the men's side, Danny Ledesma placed first in the 1,500 with a time of 4:10.15 while Carter Williams pulled down top honors in the 3,000 steeplechase with a time of 9:40.42.

Ryan Richert placed second in the 10,000 with an NAIA Qualifying time of 31:38.

Biola returns to action on Friday, April 1, traveling to Fresno Pacific for a tri-meet with the Sunbirds and Westmont College. Field events begin at 2:00 p.m. with track events kicking off at 3:20 p.m.
