FALLBROOK, Calif. --- Whitney Hobbs finished 20th overall to lead Biola's women's golf team to an eighth-place finish at the Pala Mesa Women's Intercollegiate, hosted by California Baptist University on Monday and Tuesday at the Pala Mesa Golf Resort.

The Eagles shot a two-round 841, finishing eighth among the eight teams in the field. Hobbs led Biola with a 35-over-par 179, finishing 20th out of 43 competitors.

Biola returns to action on Monday and Tuesday, taking part in the Cal State San Marcos Lady Cougar Invitational at the Lake San Marcos Country Club in San Marcos.
