PASADENA, Calif. --- Biola opened its 2011 season with a dominating 9-0 sweep over Cal Tech in a non-league match on Friday in Pasadena.

The Eagles cruised to three wins in the doubles portion, then cruised past the Beavers in the singles with just one set nearly going to the home side. 

Biola returns to action on Saturday, hosting cross-town foe Whittier College in a non-conference match at home. First serve is slated for 10:00 a.m.
