LA MIRADA, Calif. --- No stranger to playing on the road at the end of the season, Biola will hit the road again, traveling to Missouri to face off against the No. 15 seed Hannibal-LaGrange University in the 2011 Men's Soccer National Championship Opening Round on Saturday, Nov. 19.

The match is one of 15 opening round matches being played on campus sites across the country. The winners of the National Championship Opening Round games, as well as No. 4 Mobile (Ala.) (the host seed), will advance to the Final Site from Nov. 28 - Dec. 3 in Orange Beach, Ala.

Biola, which is riding a six-match winning streak including three post-season matches to win the GSAC Tournament and earn the conference's automatic berth to the NAIA Tournament. The Eagles wrapped up the season with a 13-5-2 overall record.

Biola is making its fourth trip to the NAIA National Championship Tournament and its second in the last three years. Despite reaching the NAIA Quarterfinals, the Eagles are still looking for their first win in the championships, going 0-3-4 all-time including going 0-1-2 in three matches last season.

Hannibal-LaGrange University, the Eagles' first-round opponent, qualified by virtue of winning the regular-season and conference tournament title in the American Midwest Conference. The Trojans enter the game with a record of 16-4-0 after posting a perfect 7-0 conference mark. This is just the second national tournament appreance by HLU, which played to a tie in 2008 and lost 4-2 in a penalty-kick shootout.

The time of the game has yet to be determined.
