VISALIA, Calif. --- When Amy Weststeyn left the Central Valley Christian gymnasium following her interview for being named the 2010 Visalia Times-Delta/Tulare Advance-Register volleyball player of the year, basketball players from an opposing school could be heard saying, "Wow, she's tall."

That made Weststeyn just laugh because yes, she is tall and it's not like she hasn't heard that before. It's been going on her whole life.
