PHOENIX --- Junior Nathan Roe, sophomore Mark Diaz and junior Amber Kiel each won two races as Biola swam a dual meet against NCAA Division II Grand Canyon University on Saturday afternoon. 

Overall, the Antelopes cruised to the dual meet victory as the Eagles lost 174.5 to 73.5 on the women's side and 165 to 53 on the men's side.

Roe took top honors in the distance freestyle events. He won the 200 free in 1:48.98 and won the 500 free in 5:00.21. Diaz won the breaststroke events, taking the 100 in 1:04.93 and the 200 in 2:22.66.

On the women's side, Kiel swept the backstroke events, winning the 100 in 1:04.06 and actually tying for first place in the 200 at 2:16.35.

April Smith also added a victory in the 200 breaststroke, touching the wall in 2:25.39.

Biola closes out its dual meet schedule on Saturday (Jan. 29), traveling to Chapman University to take on the Panthers along with Mills College and Vanguard University.
