LA MIRADA, Calif. --- The 2010 Biola women's soccer schedule was released on Friday and features a tough 15-match schedule including eight home matches and five matches against teams in last year's NAIA Tournament.

The Eagles open the season at home on Saturday, Aug. 28, hosting a non-conference match against the University of St. Francis (Ind.) at 7:00 p.m. It will be the first of three home matches in the team's first four games of the season.

After a trip to face NCAA Division II Cal State San Bernardino, Biola returns home to take on Colorado Christian University on Monday, Sept. 6 at 11:00 a.m., then hosts College of Idaho the following Monday, Sept. 13, at 1:00 p.m.

Prior to beginning conference play, the Eagles head south to face Cal State San Marcos on Saturday, Sept. 18 at 12:30 p.m. The Cougars were an NAIA qualifier last season, the first of five Biola will face in 2010.

The other four come from the Golden State Athletic Conference, which sent the most teams to the NAIA tournament from any one conference. The Eagles open GSAC play at San Diego Christian on Saturday, Sept. 25 at 1:00 p.m., but return home the following Tuesday (Sept. 28) for a tough contest against California Baptist University at 7:00 p.m., another NAIA qualifier.

After hosting Westmont on Wednesday, Oct. 6, (7:00 p.m.), the Eagles travel to face arch-rival and defending GSAC champion Azusa Pacific University at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday (Oct. 9).

Biola's remaining home matches come against Concordia University (Calif. ) (Oct. 16 - 2:00 p.m.), NAIA finalist Point Loma Nazarene University (Oct. 23 -4:30 p.m.) and NCCAA Champion The Master's College (Oct. 30 - 4:30 p.m.).

The remaining road slate features trips to Hope International (Oct. 12 - 3:00 p.m.), Fresno Pacific University (Oct. 20 - 7:00 p.m.) and Vanguard University (Oct. 27 - 4:30 p.m.).
