REDLANDS, Calif. --- Senior April Smith placed fourth overall on the women's side while Chris Stutzman placed seventh on the men's side to pace Biola at the University of Redlands Bulldog Pentathlon on Saturday.

The unique events has each swimmer swim five events: 100 butterfly, 100 freestyle, 100 breaststroke, 100 backstroke and a 100 individual medley. The times are all combined with the lowest time winning.

Smith placed fourth with a total time of 5:13.31. She had the second fastest times in the breaststroke and the individual medley. In addition, Brittany Rosania took 19th overall with time of 5:32.62 and Emily Mosbacher clocked a time of 5:33.89.

On the men's side, Stutzman recorded a total time of 4:44.59 and picked up top five times in the 100 back and the 100 free. Nathan Roe took 14th with a time of 4:54.75.

Next up, the Eagles travel up to Fresno for a tri-meet with Fresno Pacific and Cal State East Bay on Saturday, Nov. 20, at Noon.
