MONTEREY BAY, Calif. --- Biola University's women's golf team wrapped up the fall portion of its 2010-11 schedule with an eighth-place finish at the Cal State Monterey Bay Golf Mart Lady Otter Invitational at Black Horse Golf Course on Monday and Tuesday.

Whitney Hobbs paced the Eagles' squad, recording rounds of 86 and 84 to finish at 170, good enough for 30th place. Rounding out the contingent was Claire Prentice (203), Beth Williams (225), Megan Anderson (226).

The Invitational was the fourth round of golf played by the team over a five-day stretch as the Eagles participated in the Culturme Classic in Oregon on Friday and Saturday.

Cal State Monterey Bay took home team honors while Sonoma State's Spencer Heller earned Medalist honors.

Biola's spring schedule will be announced around January.
