• Second on the team with 10 starts on the season
• Had quality starts and wins in his last two starts at home
• Threw a one-run complete game in the final game of the season and on his senior day
• Had more strikeouts (26) than walks (23)

2018
• Went 2-1 during 15 appearances in his first year with the Eagles
• Started five times and collected a save against Holy Names on April 14
• Threw four scoreless innings of one-hit ball on Feb. 17 and 5.2 shutout innings against Fresno Pacific on March 27
• Struck out 20 batters in 34 innings

• Played two seasons with the Tigers

HIGH SCHOOL
• Prepped two varsity seasons at Big Bear HS, graduation in 2014
• Won the Mt. Baldy league championship with the Bears in 2014
• Posted a 0.91 ERA his senior year and a 10-0 record
• Earned first team all-league and first-team all-state recognition in 2014
• Also played basketball and earned all-league recognition in 2014

• Born March 20, 1996 to David and Jeannie Burk
• Has has one older sibling, Houston
• Enjoys eight lifting and playing golf
• Majoring in Kinesiology with the intention of being a strength trainer for athletes

• Why I Chose Biola: "I chose Biola to receive a good education in a healthy Christian environment. Biola also has a great Kinesiology program."
