• Born Jan. 17, 1996 to Adrene Despars and Scott Benson
• Has one younger brother, Matthew
• Chris' uncle played water polo at UCLA and he has two cousins who were collegiate athletes at the NCAA DI level
• Enjoys dirtbiking, snowboarding and travelling
• Majoring in Communication Studies with hopes of being a professional baseball player or a pilot
