• Played in seven games as a true freshman

HIGH SCHOOL
• Prepped two varsity seasons at Valley Christian High School in Cerritos, Calif., graduating in 2020
• Helped the Defenders to 20 wins and a CIF Southern Section second round appearance as a senior
• Named All-Area First Team and Player of the Year by Hews Media Group after averaging 22.4 points per game in 2019-20
• Also earned Division 3A All-CIF honors as a senior 
• Averaged 15.3 points in 19 games his junior year and earned HMG All-Area First Team recognition

• Born April 23, 2001 to Maria Del Carmen Payero and Elvis Espinar
• Has two siblings
• Majoring in business administration with the hopes of owning his own business
• Played club basketball with Veritas Academy in Sante Fe Springs, winning several tournaments and MVP awards
• Enjoys listening to music in his free time
