2020
• Appeared in two meets before the season was canceled due to COVID-19 outbreak
• Set a new PR in the long jump at the Beach Opener (6.54m)

2019
• Appeared in nine meets during his second year with the Eagles
• Earned Academic All-PacWest recognition
• Earned the D2ADA Academic Achievement Award
• Competed in the long jump and triple jump at the PacWest Championships, earning an eighth-place finish in the TJ (11.73m)

2018
• Appeared in 10 meets during his first year with the Eagles
• Earned Academic All-PacWest recognition
• Competed in the triple jump, long jump and 4x100m relay at the PacWest Championships, leading the relay to a fourth place finish
• Recorded his season-best long jump at the PacWest Championships (5.78m)

HIGH SCHOOL
• Prepped at Valley Christian High School, graduating in 2017
• Helped lead his team to the West Catholic Athletic League finals
• Was a WCAL finalist in the Long Jump Warrior Award
• National Merit Scholarship finalist
• Made honor roll and earned AP Scholar Award
• Career-best long jump of 20' 6.25" and triple jump of 38' 6.5"
• Also played football for the Warriors

PERSONAL
• Born Aug. 11, 1999 to David and Aimee Bainbridge
• Majoring in English with hopes of becoming a professional novelist
• Has two older siblings (Christine and Emily)
• He enjoys card games
• Favorite Bible Verse: Philippians 4:13
• Why I Chose Biola: “I chose Biola because I didn't want to end up like so many others who lose their connection to Christianity upon entering college. Here, I can receive both an important academic and biblical education, as well as continue the sport I love."
