TFRRS PROFILE


2020
• Had appeared in two meets before the season was canceled due to COVID-19 outbreak
• Finished fourth in the javelin toss at the Pomona-Pitzer Collegiate All-Comers (50.79m)
• Competed in the triple jump (12.64m) and long jump (6.10m) at the Beach Opener

HIGH SCHOOL
• Prepped four varsity seasons at W.F. West High School, graduating in 2019
• Two-time league champion junior and senior year
• Placed 4th in the state with his 4x100 team
• Graduated with honors in STEM and Humanities as the valedictorian of his class
• Also played football and basketball for the Bearcats, earning 1st team all-league honors as a wide receiver

PERSONAL
• Born Mar. 10, 2001 to Chris and Kristi Yarter
• Majoring in Engineering Physics with plans to ean his master's in engineering  and someday use his skills on a mission trip
• Has two siblings (Jason and Garrett)
• Mother Kristi played volleyball at University of Arizona and brother Garrett played football at George Fox University
• Enjoys hiking, skiing, and playing other sports during his spare time
• Favorite Bible Verse: Colossians 3:23
• Why I Chose Biola: “I chose Biola for its Christian faith on campus and in the classroom as well as its strong engineering and science programs”
