LA MIRADA --- The Biola University men's basketball program continues to excel both on the court and in the classroom, earning national academic honors from the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) for the 2024-25 season.
Biola was named a recipient of the prestigious NABC Team Academic Excellence Award, which recognizes programs that maintain a cumulative team GPA of 3.0 or higher.
In addition to the team accolade, nine Eagles earned individual spots on the 2024-25 NABC Honors Court, which honors juniors, seniors, and graduate student-athletes who achieved a GPA of 3.2 or higher during the academic year.
The honored student-athletes are:
Returning to the Honors Court for a second straight year are Esparza, Ruck, and Howlin—each continued to set the standard in academic excellence for Biola Basketball.
The NABC academic awards highlighted the hard work these student-athletes dedicated to their studies.
