Brown seals OT win

Parrish-Tillman scores career-high 26 as Eagles prevail 84–81

ROCKLIN, Calif. --- The Biola men's basketball team went to overtime for the second consecutive road game and secured its first conference victory with an 84–81 win over the Jessup Warriors.

Tyus Parrish-Tillman set the tone for BU, totaling a career-high 26 points, while adding five boards and five blocks. Cameron Brown came in clutch down the stretch, contributing a double double, including 21 points and 10 rebounds. Charlie Gehler and Chris Harris combined for 23 points.

The first half showed Biola's consistency and depth. Parrish-Tillman led the way with nine first-half points, followed by Harris, Gehler, and Walker Weir. 10 turnovers, however, opened the door for the Warriors to gain a seven-point lead into the break.

Trailing 39-32 at the break, the Eagles responded, outscoring the Warriors 42-35 in the second half. Brown and Parrish-Tillman combined for 30 of the 42 BU points. The second half was defined by nine ties and lead changes as the two teams traded baskets. A layup by Brown with one second on the clock would send the contest into overtime.

In overtime, Brown scored eight of Biola's 10 total points. A free throw by Harris would put the Eagles up for good, leaving Warrior Arena with a win.

Biola improves to 4-3 overall and 1-1 in conference.

The Eagles will be back home to face #4 Point Loma (6-1, 1-0) on Wednesday, Dec. 10 at 7:30 p.m.
