MISSION VIEJO, Calif. --- Kaitlin O'Brien comes to Biola Volleyball following four varsity seasons as a part of one of the most successful high school programs in the state of California.
 
O'Brien has become accustomed to winning during her time at Saddleback Valley Christian School where she helped lead the team to three CIF Championships (2013-15) as a libero and defensive specialist.
 
"I love Kaitlin's work ethic and personality," said Head Coach Aaron Seltzer. "We definitely need to replace some of our ball control pieces, and she will give us depth there as a very versatile kid. She is a very good fit."
 
With O'Brien on the team the Warriors qualified for two sectional finals and advanced to the state finals in 2014. She was All-CIF first team and all-league first team in 2015 and scored two other all-league second team honors.
 
She also excelled in the classroom throughout her high school career as she made the honor roll during each of her four years as a Warrior.
 
O'Brien intends to major in elementary education when she arrives at Biola this fall and hopes to turn that into a successful career as an elementary school teacher.
 
"I am excited to attend a Christian college and play volleyball for an amazing program," said O'Brien.
