DOWNEY, Calif. --- Biola Men's Soccer gets an injection of young talent in its midfield with the addition of Daniel Andazola. Andazola joins Head Coach Todd Elkins' squad after competing in three sports during his time at Warren High School.
 
"Daniel was a member of a very successful high school program at Warren High School," said Elkins. "He is a calm and composed player on the ball that brings good technique and field awareness."
 
Andazola is a strong athlete, winning "best newcomer" on the Bears' cross country team and playing solid minutes on varsity soccer.
 
He's also strong in the classroom, winning the student-athlete award, posting a grade point average of 4.0 and earning the Bronze Bear and Mary Stauffer awards during his time at Warren.
 
"I chose Biola because I wanted to go to a school where I am able to continue to grow my faith in God," said Andazola.
 
He'll begin at Biola this fall and plans to major in sociology. He aims to become a police officer and eventually detective following graduation.
