LA MIRADA, Calif. --- Reba DePriest was dominant between March 23-29 and was rewarded for her efforts with her third Golden State Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week honor.
 
This is the senior's first time winning the award in the 2015 season after winning it twice last year. She had a phenomenal week in helping Biola to a 5-1 overall record and 4-0 record in back-to-back home doubleheaders on Friday and Saturday.
 
DePriest threw 22.1 total innings on the week and did not allow a single earned run. She racked up 36 strikeouts, including three 10+ strikeout performances in a row and had a personal record of 4-0.
 
The Eagles' ace is now leading the NAIA in wins (16) and total strikeouts (183) and used her performance this week to drop her ERA below 2.00. She posted a WHIP of 0.72 and had two complete game shutouts this week.
 
DePriest and the Eagles jump back into action on Thursday for an evening doubleheader at Azusa Pacific. Look for Head Coach Lorie Coleman to lean heavily on the right arm of DePriest against a tough NCAA Division II opponent.
