About Georgetown (Ky.) – Georgetown is the No. 4 seed in the Reinhardt bracket, and the Tigers earned their berth in the NAIA Softball Championship Opening round by winning the Mid-South Conference tournament. The Tigers enter play with a 37-13 record and come off one of the most memorable moments of the season following a no-hitter in their conference-clinching win over Cumberland University. Georgetown has a similar mold to Biola, as it is very reliant on pitching and fielding to win ballgames. Its pitching staff is in the top-20 in the country in ERA (1.84) and opponents batting average (.216). Kayla Williams and Jessica Claxton are key to those efforts, as the duo combined for an ERA in the low-1s over the course of nearly 300 innings pitched in the Tigers' 50 games. The junior and freshman combo could prove to be deadly in this double-elimination format.
