KAILE CHAVEZ RECRUITING VIDEO
COVINA, Calif. --- Biola softball injected some power in its 2016 defensive lineup with its latest addition, Kaile Chavez from Charter Oak High School.
Â
Chavez is a decorated member of the Chargers' softball team with all-league first and second team honors through her first three seasons on varsity. She plays varsity softball and soccer at Charter Oak.
Â
"Kaile is the final touch to the powerhouse incoming freshman class," said Head Coach
Lorie Coleman. "We have high expectations for Kaile's career in Biola Softball as a high velocity powerhouse pitcher. We are very blessed to have her and are so excited to add her to our pitching arsenal."
Â
Chavez is tremendous in the circle and just as talented in the classroom, earning scholar athlete status in each of her first three seasons. She will study kinesiology at Biola with hopes of a career as an athletic trainer or physical therapist.
Â
"I chose Biola because it has a great academic program as well as a great softball program," said Chavez. "After I visited several colleges I came to the realization that Biola was a great fit for me and I could not picture myself going anywhere else."
Â
Chavez finishes her time at Charter Oak this spring and begins classes in La Mirada in August 2015.
