Box Score ROCKLIN, Calif. ---
Chelsea Hill and
Elizabeth Munger got in on the scoring with double-digit days, but the Eagles fell again on the road, losing 79-54 to William Jessup.
Â
Biola improved its shooting percentage from yesterday's game, jumping it over 15 percent to 41.7 percent, but the sharp shooting could not overcome the pinpoint accuracy that gave the Warriors a huge advantage in the first half.
Â
WJU shot over 60 percent from the floor, the line and from deep to take a commanding 40-19 lead into the locker room. Sarah Peterson and Ashley Rose each shot over 62 percent and scored 20-plus points to lead the Warriors to   the 25-point victory.
Â
Biola played well, with three players hitting double-digits and numerous players contributing on the boards, but they were unable to get to the free-throw line enough to make a dent in WJU's huge lead. Biola only got 16 shots from the line while the Warriors were able to throw up 31 from the charity stripe, getting 23 of their points from the line.
Â
Biola led the rebound category for the second straight game, but they also led in turnovers, giving the ball away 23 times to WJU.
Â
Minutes were spread around again to get some of the younger players some experience in a tough road environment, as
Shonnell Hoyt, who did not play in yesterday's loss to Simpson, picked up 33 minutes today.
Â
The loss dropped Biola to 0-2 on the young season and moved WJU to 2-1 as they won their home opener.
Â
The Eagles have one more difficult matchup on their season-opening road stint, a clash with Azusa Pacific on Tuesday, but then they return for their home opener against Cal Maritime at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
