Dorn and Becca DeVere hit back-to-back three-pointers to quickly pull back to within 13. Dorn hit another three one minute later to bring the deficit down to nine with 5:18 to play. Dorn then converted an old-fashioned three-point play with a bucket and foul, converting the free throw to make it 66-60 with 4:27 remaining.

The Oaks ended the 13-0 run with a three-pointer but the Eagles continued to chip away and Amy Freet made it a one-possession game with a three-pointer with 55 seconds left. After the Oaks missed the front-end of a one-and-one on the other end, Dorn hit a bucket with five seconds left to make it a 73-72 game.
