LA MIRADA, Calif. --- Biola seniors Jillian Storm and Lyndsie Roberts along with freshman CeCe Luster have been named to the 2011 All-Golden State Athletic Conference team as voted on by the conference coaches and announced by the league office on Monday.

The Eagles' three selections on the team matches the most represented since the 2002 team featured four Biola athletes.

Storm has had an incredible senior season, heading to the GSAC Tournament as the NAIA leader in stolen bases with 56. She finished the regular season with .366 batting average, reaching base a team-best 78 times overall and scoring a team-best 50 runs. She currently is the career record-holder with 80 stolen bases and will start her 53rd game of the season tonight, a new school record as well.

Roberts powered her way onto the all-conference team, batting .364 with a school-record 11 home runs and adding 36 RBIs on the season. Roberts also has was a force in the circle, going 6-4 with a 2.62 ERA. She will end her Biola career ranking second all-time in home runs (19), third in wins (40) and third in innings pitched (520.1).

Luster made an immediate impact with the Eagles, both with the bat and in the circle. The freshman led the team with a .389 batting average and currently ranks fifth in the NAIA with 66 RBIs. Her RBI total shattered the previous school record and she closely trailed Roberts in home runs, belting nine on the season. She also was the team's top pitcher, going 12-10 with a 2.14 ERA and adding 95 strikeouts in 124 innings pitched.

Biola opens the GSAC Tournament on Tuesday with a play-in game against Vanguard University at California Baptist University beginning at 5:00 p.m. The winner of the game begins a best-two-of-three series against the top-ranked Lancers in the GSAC Semifinal round.
