LA MIRADA, Calif. --- Biola freshman CeCe Luster has been named the GSAC Player of the Week for the week of April 11-17 after having a hand in all eight of Biola's runs scored during the week.

Luster went belted three home runs during the week, going 6-for-12 while driving in seven runs and scoring four as Biola took on two NAIA Top 5 teams. 

At No. 1 Cal Baptist, she hit a home run in each game, driving in four runs while going 3-for-6 on the day. She followed that up with a home run in the first game agianst No. 4 Concordia, adding two more RBIs and going 2-for-3. In the second game, she drove in Biola's lone run in a 1-0 upset victory over Concordia.

Luster led the team with a .399 batting average and has nine home runs and 61 RBIs on the season. Her RBI total, in addition to being a single-season school record, also ranks second in the NAIA. 

Biola has four games remaining this season, starting with its final home doubleheader on Tuesday against Hope International. First pitch is slated for 2:00 p.m.
