Christina Barclay led a trio of scorers in double-figures with 19 points and added seven rebounds as Biola picked up its second win in as many days, beating Menlo College 73-55 in a non-conference game on Saturday night.
The Eagles improve to 2-0 on the season while dropping the Oaks to 1-1.
Barclay had a solid night, hitting 9-of-13 from the field to pace the Biola offense. Senior

Emily Drews each added 16 points for the Eagles. Conicelli was 12-of-13 from the charity stripe to provide most of her points, adding seven rebounds and three steals before fouling out of the contest. Drews was 7-of-10 including 2-of-3 from beyond the arc, adding three assists and a steal.
Biola held off Menlo in a hotly contested first half, taking a narrow 33-28 lead into the locker room at halftime. in the second, Biola shot 52 percent from the field and held the Oaks to just six field goals to pull away late.
Biola was out-rebounded by the Oaks 38-36. Both teams were plagued by turnovers, combining for 62 in the contest.. However, Biola hung in there thanks to a solid shooting second half and solid ball distribution.
Erika Garcia led the way for Menlo with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
The Eagles return home and prepare for a big exhibition contest against the University of Southern California on Tuesday. Admission for the game at the Galen Center on the USC campus is free. Tip-off is slated for 7:00 p.m.
