• Appeared in nine meets during her first season at Biola
• Had her best shot put toss at the SDSU Aztec Open (11.13m)
• Set her season-best in the discus (32.68m) and hammer throw (33.58m) at the CSULA Invitational

HIGH SCHOOL
• Prepped four varsity seasons at Carpinteria HS in Capinteria, Calif., graduating in 2017
• Captain of the track team junior and senior year
• Also captained the cheer squad and basketball team
• Qualified for CIF three times, including making finals once
• Led all of Santa Barbara county in discus as a sophomore, finished second two other times
• Earned President's Award all four years
 
PERSONAL
• Born Dec. 1, 1999 to Richard DeAlba
• Has seven siblings (Xavier, Sole, Isaac, Kevin, Richard, Gaby and Joey)
• Majoring in psychology, with hopes of a career as a child psychologist
• She enjoys reading
• Favorite Bible Verse: 1 Peter 3: 3-4
• Why I Chose Biola: “I chose Biola because I wanted to have a positive environment, especially with such a big transition from high school into college. I loved the idea of being surrounded by fellow Christians who are going to help me grow in faith and as a person."
