• Appeared in nine meets during her first season at Biola, almost exclusively throwing javelin
• Her best toss of the season was 31.91m, which came at the PacWest Championships

HIGH SCHOOL
• Prepped three varsity seasons at Portland Christian HS in Portland, Ore., graduating in 2017
• Earned five top-3 district finishes, including one district championship
• Earned a spot at the state meet all three years
• Led her team the district championship in 2017
• Graduated with Presidential honors and made Highest Honor Roll all four years
• Member of the National Honors Society
• Earned the school's geometry award, Spanish award, Christian character award, leadership award and student scholarship award
• Also played soccer and basketball for the Royals
 
PERSONAL
• Born March 31, 1999 to Troy and Michelle Lown
• Has two younger siblings (Myla and Weston)
• Majoring cinema and media arts, with hopes of a career as a director/film editor
• Her grandfather, Bud Kinzler, competed in track at Northwest Nazarene
• She enjoys soccer, film, songwriting and working out
• Favorite Bible Verse: John 16:32-33
• Why I Chose Biola: “Biola has an amazing film program where I can get a great education about something I am passionate about. I know this is a place I will grow my relationship with Christ. Also, it is in sunny LA and coming from Portland, Oregon it will be great to get away from the rain!"
