2018
• Appeared in 10 meets during her first season at BU
• Had her best shot put toss of the season at the CSULA Invitational (12.32m)
• Threw the javelin 39.33m at the SDSU Aztec Open to set a season-best
• Competed in the shot put, hammer throw and javelin at the PacWest Championships, scoring points with seventh-place finishes in the SP and JT
• Earned Academic All-PacWest honors

HIGH SCHOOL
• Prepped four varsity seasons at North Medford HS in Medford, Ore., graduating in 2017
• Holds the school record in the shot put
• Earned all-conference honors
• Member of Torch Honors Society
• Also swam and played volleyball for the Tornados
 
PERSONAL
• Born Feb. 10, 1999 to Malcolm and Julie Shaw
• Has four siblings (Jordan, Ashlee, Christian and Malcolm)
• Majoring in sociology, with hopes of a career in social work
• She enjoys reading, knitting, laughing and singing
• Favorite Bible Verse: Psalms 37:3-8
