Biola University Athletics

B.J. Foster is no stranger to any fans of GSAC basketball. The 2008-2009 season will mark the seventh season Foster has served as an assistant coach in the conference after splitting his playing career between two conference schools.

Foster is in his third year as the assistant coach with Biola after spending the previous four seasons at Vanguard (’04-’06) and Pt. Loma (‘02-‘04). Currently, he handles recruiting and scheduling for the Eagles among other duties. As an assistant coach, Foster was a part of two teams which qualified for the NAIA National Tournament, Pt. Loma in 2003 and Vanguard in 2006.

As a player, he made the GSAC all-conference team twice with Pt. Loma (’00 and ’01) and once with Biola (’02). Foster went to the National Tournament twice as a player (Pt. Loma ’00 and Biola ’02). After three seasons at PLNU, Foster transferred to Biola for his final season, helping the Eagles to a GSAC Championship in 2002.

Foster graduated in 2003 for Pt. Loma Nazarene University with a BA in physical Education and then received his Master’s in Coaching and Sports Administration from Concordia University in 2007.
