• Prepped three varsity seasons at Buena Vista High School in Buena Vista, Colo., graduating in 2018
• Averaged at least 20 points-per-game all three seasons, including 31 points-per-game and 7 rebounds-per-game as a senior
• Three-time all-league first team amd two-time all-star
• Named Conference Player of the Year his senior season
• Second on his school's all-time scoring list (1,790)
• Captained the team all three years
• Led the state of Colorado in scoring in 2017-18, earning all-state honors
• Landed on honor roll all four years
• Also played golf for the Demons, earning all-league first team honors
• Played four years of AAU hoops for the Elevation Flyers

PERSONAL
• Born May 15, 1999 to Chris Carroll and Karla Yates
• Has two younger siblings (Cole and Ella)
• His father, Chris, played collegiate basketball at Wisconsin-Eau Claire
• He plans to major in kinesiology and pursue a career in athletic training
• Enjoys cooking, hanging out with friends, going on trips to new places and listening to music
• Favorite Bible Verse: Philippians 4:13
• Why I chose Biola: "I chose Biola because it gives me an opportunity to get a little further away from home and experience life somewhere new. It also allows me the opportunity to grow a lot as a basketball player and also as a person and in my faith. The strong sense of community is something that really attracted me to Biola."
