• Prepped three varsity seasons at Capital Christian High School in Sacramento, Calif., graduating in 2021
• All-league honors, receiving the Cougar Award and MVP
• In 2020-2021 averaged 11 pts, 1 ast, 2 reb, 0.3 stl
• In 2021-2022 averaged 15 pts, 2.5 ast, 3.5 reb, 1 stl
• Was named to the Honor Roll and Deans list
• Also played volleyball for the Cougars, earning the MVP award

PERSONAL
• Born Sep. 17, 2002 to Abdiel and Tricia Alvarez
• Has two older siblings (Micah and Devon) and one younger sibling (Jaidyn)
• Is undecided in his major, with hopes to play professional basketball, be a gym owner/trainer, or a Bible minister.
• His Father, Abdiel, played college soccer. His brothers, Micah and Devon, also played college soccer
• He makes the best cheesecakes.
• Favorite Bible Verse: James 4:4
• Why I chose Biola: "I chose Biola because of the Christian atmosphere they provide, the small classrooms compared to a bigger college so I can interact with my teachers, and because I have the opportunity to play basketball"
