Biola University Athletics

2007: Proved to be one of the best Liberos in the GSAC as s sophomore…appeared in 39 matches and 131 games…broke the school record with 601 digs, averaging 4.59 per game…committed just 30 errors in 705 reception attempts (.957 percentage)…recorded double-digit digs in 34 of 40 matches…had a season-high 32 digs in Biola’s NAIA Quarterfinal win over National American SD (11/30/07)…posted a 3-game high of 28 digs in Biola’s sweep over Hope International (10/23/07).

2006: Stepped right into the Libero role for the Eagles as a true freshman…played in all 32 matches and all 117 games…led the team with 524 digs (4.48/game)…also had 29 assists and nine aces…committed just 40 receiving errors in 657 attempts…named GSAC and Region II Libero of the Week for 10/2/06 after registering 43 digs with no passing or serve reception errors in a pair of conference matches…included in the stretch were a season-high 33 digs in a five-game loss to Point Loma Nazarene (9/30/06).

HIGH SCHOOL: Played four seasons for while at Oak Ridge High School in El Dorado Hills…named the team captain as a junior and was a member of the Optimist's All-Star Team in 2006…helped team to two league and CIF Sectional Championships…ORHS finished 18-8 during her junior season and went 34-6 during her senior year.

PERSONAL: Plans to major in business/marketing…parents are Daniel and Kimberly Stevens…has an older sister, Shannon (25).
