2010: Appeared in 31 matches and played in 86 sets, making eight starts as a junior in the back row for the Eagles…had 150 digs (1.74/set) and posted an impressive .942 serve receive percentage, committing just 11 errors in 189 chances…added 11 kills (0.13/set), nine aces and two assists…named GSAC and NAIA Scholar Athlete…recorded a career-high 20 digs in a five-set loss at Point Loma Nazarene (Nov. 13), one of five matches with 10 or more kills.
2009: Played in 13 matches before suffering a season-ending knee injury against Concordia University CA (Sept. 12)…recorded 63 kills (1.54/set), 118 digs (2.88/set), 14 aces, 13 assists, and nine blocks…matched career-high with 11 kills in sweep over Cornerstone University MI (Aug. 22)…had season-high 15 digs and added nine kills, three blocks, three assists and two aces in Biola’s five-set loss to Doane NE (Aug. 21).
2008: Appeared in 34 of Biola’s 35 matches, playing in 109 sets...had 172 digs (1.58/set), 35 kills (0.32/set), 19 aces, 14 assists and one block…led the team with a .972 receiving percentage (seven receiving errors in 250 chances)…recorded a season-high 11 kills in a home match against San Diego Christian, committing no errors in 18 swings for a .611 attack percentage…had a career-high six aces in a four-set win over Madonna University MI at the NAIA Championships (Dec. 4)…posted double-digit digs in five matches including a season-best 19 in a five-set win over Azusa Pacific (Nov. 11).
HIGH SCHOOL: Played four years of varsity ball at San Clemente High School…earned first-team all-South Coast League honors as a junior and senior and was a finalist for the Orange County Athlete-of-the-Year her senior season…helped the Tritons to three South Coast League championships and twice helped them reach the CIF semifinals…was a valedictorian at San Clemente and also named a Scholar-Athlete, AP Scholar and CIF Life Member…earned a letter in track and field at SCHS.
PERSONAL: Major is Math with a minor in secondary education…parents are Rick and Debbie Talcott…has three older siblings, David (30), Daniel (28) and Melody (25), who are all married, and has seven nieces and nephews.
