COLLEGESWIMMING PROFILE


2019-20
• Competed in eight different meets throughout the season
• Swam her season-best 100-butterfly (1:05.24) at the PCSC Championships
• Set season-best or personal-best times in each individual event during the La Vernve Collegiate Winter Invite
• Her best individual finish was a ninth-place mark in the 200-butterfly (2:32.21) at the La Verne Collegiate Winter Invite
• Helped the team to a program-best third-place finish at the PCSC Championships

HIGH SCHOOL
• Prepped four varsity seasons at Manteca High School in Manteca, Calif., graduating in 2018
• Made sectionals during her freshman and junior seasons
• Earned all-league honors and three-time team MVP
• Was the three-time team captain and recipient of the coaches award, made the all-city team
• Member of the California Scholarship Federation, National Honor Society and honor roll
• Swam four years of club for Ripon Aquatics

 PERSONAL
• Born Dec. 7, 1999 to Leopoldo and Stephanie Trejo
• Has two younger siblings (Matthew and Amelia)
• Plans to major in nursing and pursue a career in pediatrics as a nurse practitioner
• She enjoys baking, cooking, watching movies, hiking and going to the beach
• Favorite Bible Verse: Romans 9:29
• Why I chose Biola: "I chose Biola because I loved the atmosphere and I felt welcomed. I really wanted to attend a Christian school because I wanted my faith in God to grow. I also wanted the nursing program to be God centered."
