2019-20
• Competed in all 12 meets during her first season at Biola
• Set one individual school record and was part of one relay record
• Earned PCSC NCAA Division II Swimmer of the Week honors following Slug Shootout and Bay Area Invitational in October
• Finished top-5 in each of her individual events at the PCSC Championships, including the 200-backstroke (4th - 2:04.860, 200-IM (4th - 2:06.30) and 400-IM (3rd - 4:27.67)
• Won two events at the La Verne Collegiate Winter Invite (200-backstroke & 400-IM)
• Helped the team to a program-best third-place finish at the PCSC Championships

HIGH SCHOOL
• Prepped four varsity seasons for Brea Olinda High School in Brea, Calif., graduating in 2019
• Holds five school records
• Won MVP at the league championships three times
• Four-time scholar-athlete
• Won the CIF Consolation Championship her junior year
• Was a CIF finalist and state qualifier her senior season
• Led her team to a league championship as a freshman
• Earned many institutional awards: Scholar-Athlete of the Year, Spring Athlete of the Year, AP Scholar Award, Department of Social Sciences Award and Distinguished Scholar
• Swam five years of club at Elite Aquatics Sports Team

PERSONAL
• Born May 22, 2001 to Larissa and Andrey Parahnevich
• Has one older sibling (Daniel)
• Majoring in nursing with hopes of becoming a RN
• She enjoys dancing, baking and painting
• Favorite Bible Verse: Jeremiah 29:11
• Why I Chose Biola: "I chose Biola because of the welcoming atmosphere. I know I will thrive in an environment that is so accepting. I am so excited that Biola has such an amazing swim team with friendly people that will make the college life even better!"
