2019
• Named All-PacWest First Team at centerback
• United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-West Region selection
• Started all 18 matches for Biola and played every minute of the season
• Provided an assist on the game-winning goal at Point Loma on September 28
• Took two shots, with one on-goal
• PacWest Defender of the Week on October 28
• Helped lead a backline that allowed just 12 goals against, which was the best mark in the PacWest

2018
• Played 16 matches and earned 14 starts at centerback in her first season with Biola
• Played 1363 minutes and contributed to two shutouts
• Played 90 minutes or more in 13 matches, including 10 games against PacWest opponents

San Diego Mesa
• Played two years for the Olympians
• Started 39 matches and earned two all-conference honors
• Helped San Diego Mesa to a No. 1 ranking in 2016
• Part of the Mesa College Honors Society and named to the Dean's list in 2017
 
High School
• Prepped at Rancho Buena Vista High School in Vista, Calif., graduating in 2016
• Two-time Defender of the Year for the Longhorns
• Won a CIF championship in 2015
• On the honor roll all four years of high school

PERSONAL
• Born March 8, 1998 to Robert and Gina Chavez
• Has one younger sibling, Kayla
• Played five years of club soccer with the San Diego Surf
• Majoring in kinesiology in order to prepare for grad school and a career as a physical therapist
• Enjoys reading in her spare time
• Favorite Bible Verse: Isaiah 43:2
• Why I Chose Biola: "I chose Biola because it is the complete package for me as I will be able to grow spiritually through God, athletically through soccer, and academically during my time there. I truly fell in love with the atmosphere as soon as I stepped on campus and knew Biola was somewhere I wanted to spend my last two years of college. I am so thankful for this opportunity and am so excited to start my journey at Biola this coming fall."
