COLLEGESWIMMING PROFILE


2019-20
• Appeared in just two meets during his first season with BU
• Set a personal-best in the 50-freestyle at the Malibu Invitational (:23.56)
• Also had his top 100-freestyle of the season at that invitational (:52.25)
• Helped the team to a program-best third-place finish at the PCSC Championships

HIGH SCHOOL
• Prepped four varsity seasons at San Antonio Christian High School in San Antonio, Texas, graduating in 2019
• Comes to Biola with a 50-freestyle PR of :23.61
• Captained his swim team from 2016-19
• Qualified for the state meet all four years and was an All-State and All-Region swimmer 2017-19
• Led his team to a state championship in 2019
• Had four top-3 finishes at state, including two relay championships
• Earned the academic service award and honor roll each year of high school
• Was director and producer of his school's newscast from 2016-19
• Swam four seasons with Paragon Training club based in San Antonio

 PERSONAL
• Born Feb. 14, 2001 to Gregg and Patty Larsen
• Has one older sister (Victoria)
• He plans to major in cinema and media arts and work as a camera operator/film editor
• He enjoys triathalons and table tennis
• Favorite Bible Verse: Proverbs 17:17
• Why I chose Biola: "As soon as I stepped onto Biola’s campus, I knew this was the place God wanted me to be. I am very excited and proud to swim for Biola! I will improve my swimming skills and perform my best for the team."
