• Went undefeated in singles competition during his true freshman season
• Played at the No. 6 singles flight
• Played six doubles matches at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles
• Went 2-0 when partnered with fellow newcomer Noah Archer

HIGH SCHOOL
• Prepped three varsity seasons at Clovis West HS in Fresno, CA, graduating in 2016
• Won the team CIF Central Division Championship 2015
• Three-time all-league honoree and two-time All-Valley selection
• Also played Volleyball for the Golden Eagles, earning all-league and All-Valley selections.

PERSONAL
• Born July, 23 1998 to Cliff and Mary Vander Beek
• Majoring in Accounting in hopes of owning his own accounting firm.
• Has two older siblings (Josh and Kennon)
• Enjoys playing volleyball and hanging out with friends in his free time.

• Why I Chose Biola: “Biola gave me the opportunity to be in a Christian community and play the sport I love.”
