Biola University Athletics

2009: Started all 15 matches as a sophomore, finishing with a 6-6-3 record…allowed 14 goals in just over 1,427 minutes for a 0.88 goals against average, ranking in the top five in the GSAC…faced 178 shots and posted five shutouts…recorded a 404 minute scoreless streak in September which included four-straight shutouts and was the longest such streak since 2003…faced 17 shots and recorded three saves as Biola wrapped up its home schedule with a 1-1 tie against No. 6 Vanguard, keeping the Lions from a share of the GSAC title.

2008: Played in three games as a freshman, making one start and recording a 1-0-1 record…posted a .818 save percentage with nine saves in 245 minutes while facing 24 shots…made first collegiate start in non-conference game against Oregon Tech (Sept. 2), making four saves and allowing one goal to pick up her first collegiate victory in a 2-1 win over the Owls…made three saves and faced 13 shots to help Biola to a 1-1 tie against No. 6 California Baptist (Oct. 29) in her only other start of the season.

HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year letter winner at Fallbrook Union High School…recorded 91 saves her senior year with six clean sheets and was recognized as defensive player of the week…while at FUHS, team won Avocado League three seasons and put together consecutive 10-0-0 seasons.

PERSONAL: Major is Physical Education…plans on coaching youth teams after graduation …Cousin John Gerak played football for the St. Louis Rams.
