2008: Started all 15 games as a sophomore…led the team with 1,351 minutes played, helping to anchor Biola’s backline…tallied three shots including one on goal.
2007: Played in nine games as a true freshman, starting one…recorded 464 minutes played…took three shots.
HIGH SCHOOL: Four year letterwinner at George Washington High School in Guam… earned first-team All-Island honors all four years and was named All-Island MVP as a junior and senior…tallied an impressive 43 goals in four years and added 32 assists…helped Geckos to a third place league finish all four seasons…named team captain as a junior and senior …Valedictorian of high school class of 400 students…also ran cross country during sophomore year and track for two years earning All-Island honors in both…played on the Guam National Team for four years (14-18), appearing in seven international tournaments in six countries.
PERSONAL: Major is Elementary Education…plans to teach and coach after college…parents are Greg and Terri Atkinson…both parents are Biola Alums…father, Greg, wrestled at Biola and Mother, Terri, played volleyball…has three brothers, Luke (18), Levi (12) and Joel (10).
