Successful Senior Day

Biola celebrated Alessia Radu with a 7-0 win over CSULA.

LA MIRADA---The Biola women's tennis team defeated Cal State LA 7-0 on Senior Day.

The Eagles started strong, capturing the doubles point. Alexis Romano and Yeo Kyung Kim opened doubles play with a dominant 6–0 win on court three, improving to a team-best overall record of 7–1. Dafne Andres and Cassie Donar then clinched the point with a 6–4 victory on court two.

Biola continued to sweep singles. Kim secured Biola's first singles victory on the fourth court (6-1, 6-2). Isabelle Karam finished next, defeating her opponent in straight sets (6-0, 6-2). 

Senior Alessia Radu clinched the match for the Eagles, winning 6-2, 6-1 on the third court.

Kailee Mazzeo improved BU's score to 5-0. She lost her first set 3-6 and came back to win the next two 6-3, 10-5.

Andres finished next on the second court. She won her first set 8-6 in the tiebreak and then won the second 6-4.

Romano closed the match up for Biola with her 6-3, 4-6, 10-5 triumph on the sixth court.

Biola plays next on Tuesday, April 7th at 2:30 p.m. at UCR.
