LA MIRADA --- The big man in the lineup for Biola got his flowers on Thursday with the announcement of the D2CCA All-West Region and NABC DII All-District Teams. Casey Cappo was voted to the D2CCA All-West Region Second Team and the NABC DII Second Team All-West District, as one of only 10 players honored between the two teams.

Cappo did it all for the Eagles in the 2024-25 campaign. The senior led the team in points, scoring from the post and from the outside. He modeled consistency going for double-digit points in 24 games with nine 20-point efforts on the way to 15.9 points per game.

The boards also belonged to Cappo, who paced the squad at 6.9 rebounds per game. 14 rebounds marked a season-high for Cappo, as he gathered double figures in rebounds six times with five double-doubles.

Cappo wrapped up the season as a First Team All-PacWest selection, alongside teammate Daniel Esparza.

Biola Men's Basketball is slated to play in the NCAA DII West Region Championships First Round on Friday, facing Cal State San Bernardino in San Diego at 7:30 pm.
